Upcoming Global Projects - Nigeria Africa

1. In Nigeria, MB is poised to facilitate affordable housing for both urban and rural folks, leveraging on its simple, unique and environment-friendly technology. Worker collectives, mostly those who subscribed to the federal government home ownership scheme under the aegis of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), have found this a convenient solution for their housing needs. Way back in 2016, MB went into an agreement with the Environmental Ethics & Safety Corps (ESCORP), an extra-ministerial specialist agency in the Nigerian Presidency for such project in Imo state. Similar worker collective's discussions were equally held with officials of other state governments like Delta, Abia, Benue, Anambra and Ondo.
2. MB Nigeria also weighed in on the desire by Nigerians living in the diaspora to own their own homes that would be of similar (or even better) standards that they are used to abroad. We designed a prototype that we call _The Diaspora Village_ after discussions with citizens living in the Americas, Asia and Europe. The design incorporates every facility for modern-day living, with a keen eye for the convenience of the family. These include well-paved driveways, walkways, public parking lots, schools, shopping malls, supporting and relaxation centers. A case in point is Abia state (at the time) where, unfortunately, discussions got stalled due to challenges with openness over the acquisition of the appropriate size of land for the project. This drive is currently on the drawing board for rekindling.
3. With a good percentage of the Nigerian business class being involved with trading in goods manufactured locally and abroad, MB designed another prototype - _International Markets_ - aimed at sanitizing the display, selling and buying of goods, tidying up the environment and, ultimately, dispensing with the chaos, risks and disorderliness of street trading.

Existing and new market spaces in Nigerian cities and towns need this innovation and order and will benefit from the MB design.

All these designs were made with the following in mind:

1. the average-earner Nigerian,
2. the governments at the national and sub-national levels,
3. workgroups,
4. general cooperatives and
5. other group collectives.

All these groups, as stipulated in Act 3 of 1992 which established the National Housing Fund (particularly executed through the FMBN), have access to government funding on easy terms
